YOGA NIDRA INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION

CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

Yoga Nidra Instructor Certification will provide you with everything you need to begin to expertly deliver rejuvenating Yoga Nidra session in group and individual settings.

Developed and led by Master Teacher Yogacharya Eric Walrabenstein, you'll be guided step-by-step to using Yoga Nidra to powerfully transform lives in ways you never imagined. Your education includes a deep and experiential dive into the following topics.

MODULE I
THE SCIENCE OF YOGA NIDRA

I. THE LOST ART OF YOGA NIDRA

 

You'll begin your certification process by gaining an uncommon depth of understanding and experience regarding this ancient science including:

  • History, background, and context of Yoga Nidra as a little-known limb of the yogic arts.

  • How and why Yoga Nidra fulfills the original intent of yoga.

  • The three states of normal consciousness and Yoga Nidra as a tool for acessing the fourth state.

  • How Yoga Nidra is structured to help anyone access a deep state of meditations and self-recognition without effort or struggle.

II. THE BODY/MIND COMPLEX

 

With this foundation laid, we'll move on to explore human physiology including the anatomy and function of the nervous system from both the western and eastern perspectives. Special emphasis will be placed on the connection between brain wave states, health and wellness challenges, and the effects of Yoga Nidra.

  • Explore the body/mind relationship from both yogic and scientific perspectives.

  • Understand how the workings of the mind can combine with subtle aspects of the body to produce psychological and physical maladies.

  • Discover the four mental patterns that foster dis-ease in the body/mind complex.

  • Learn about samskaras, brain patterning, and how to leverage neuroplasticity for health and healing.

III. THE MECHANICS OF YOGA NIDRA

 

Our exploration of the mechanics of typical body/mind imbalances will be followed by an examination of how the tools of Yoga Nidra can be employed to bring about rejuvenation and vitality including how to:
